Meet Zahra, the Umdhlebi.
A new character for a story I am working on. All the characters are treasure hunters that have powers tied to mythological creatures/things in history.

The Umdhlebi:
The Umdhlebi is a mythological tree in South Africa. Said to have sweet smelling fruit, it lures animals to it with the smell only to kill them with the deadly toxins it releases from it’s roots and soil. The dead animals fertilize the soil around the Umdhlebi making it grow faster and stronger.

Zahra (meaning Blossom):
Zahra is as deadly as it gets in treasure hunting. Known to frequent the jungles of South Africa. Zahra is a sweet woman with a strong and focused personality. She knows what she wants and will take it, first with a soft word but a strong hand will follow. Often viewed as naive by other treasure hunters for wearing elegant floral and skull dresses, but Zahra loves giving herself personal challenges and sees maintaining beauty under impractical conditions just part of her daily tests. And if a competitor underestimates her deadly skill because of a cute dress, well all the better.

The Umdhlebi power:
The Umdhlebi power manifests in Zahra as a deadly poison aura around her. Zahra has worked hard to control her powers, and can turn them off, or dial them up as needed. Anything living will be effected. Plants wither and die, while creatures will get dizzy and die if not treated quickly. Her powers grow stronger the more death that surrounds her. They feed off it. So while she might look like a beautiful blossom in the lush jungle, once she finds a tomb to raid you’ll quickly see why the prettiest flowers are usually the deadliest.

Sugar/Sucre from OFF RPG. Just getting into the game. But I always love crazy. Posting this one late at night for the slight NSFW nature.

I think Dany is one of the most annoying characters in all the books. She's a spoiled brat with no claim to the throne. I really hope A Song of Ice and Fire ends with her head on a spike.

See, at first I totally agreed with you. When I started reading I was thinking “who is this spoiled brat and why should any one listen to her, least of all give their life to get her on the throne”.

But then I thought, is she really spoiled? I mean she has worked for everything she has. She was content on being “the wife”, but all that was taken away from her and she had to step up and be “The Queen”.

Every thing she has now is because she is strong and didn’t give up. Her belief in herself to walk into the fire is what woke the dragons, Jorah and Sir Barriston saw her greatness and joined her, her free army was achieved with love and intelligence. Her empire is built from her love and strength.

This is also why I don’t like what happens past book 3. I feel she loses that Queen role and the story focuses again on her having to choose who’s wife to be. Kinda lame. So yeah, if she tosses aside the Queen for the wife, I support your head on a stick mandate. But if she realizes her mistake and stays the queen, I’d have no troubles with Stormborn for president.

Mother of Dragons,

Without spoiling too much, Daenerys Targaryen in books 1-3 is one of the most badass characters ever. She has a really interesting dilemma in the dragons. They ONE DAY will be walking nukes, but they aren’t yet today so how much is a promise of power really worth in the end when you need soldiers right now?

Character design for a project I am working on. Nothing solid here but I like the idea. This file has literally 50 layers with different color combos for clothing, hair, skin. In the end I like these (at least right now I do) I think it conveys poison deadly plant girl without falling into the common Red hair, green skin that EVERYONE does since Poison Ivy is such a popular character design.

Thoughts?
